Independent Contractor (1099) – Project-Based
This role is project-based and requires someone with proven results in developing strategies, executing campaigns, and driving measurable engagement and conversions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to specific projects and audiences.
- Create, schedule, and manage content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.).
- Optimize content for engagement, reach, and brand consistency.
- Manage paid social campaigns, including targeting, budgeting, and performance optimization.
- Monitor analytics, generate reports, and adjust campaigns based on insights.
- Engage with communities, respond to comments/messages, and build authentic audience relationships.
- Stay updated on platform trends, tools, and algorithm changes.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of hands-on social media marketing experience.
- Portfolio required: Must include campaigns/content that drove measurable engagement, growth, or sales.
- Proficiency with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, or similar.
- Experience in paid ads management (Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
- Strong understanding of content strategy, storytelling, and visual branding.
- Excellent writing, communication, and community management skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results on a project timeline.
